A better monthly habit

Less spreadsheet detective work.
More decisions you can trace.

Shopify shows your bills and app history. App Spend Guard brings your charge lines, expected prices and team decisions into one monthly process.

01

Bring one bill.

Upload an itemized Shopify CSV or paste charge lines. Match the columns, preview the rows and confirm your import.

02

Check the exceptions.

Record app owners, expected prices, install and uninstall dates. Review inactive apps, price differences and upcoming trial dates.

03

Keep the paper trail.

Save your review decisions. Export the dated charge lines, ledger history and suggested wording for a vendor support request.

Clarity before a refund request

A flag is a reason to check.
The context comes with it.

An invoice after uninstall can include a valid earlier charge. Your team keeps the decision; the app keeps the trail.

Straightforward plans

Keep control of the bill.
Including ours.

Before you start

Your questions, answered.

Can it read every app’s bills automatically?

You import or paste the charge lines. Shopify does not provide this app with universal access to other apps’ invoices. App lifecycle, ownership and usage are entered by your team.

Will it cancel an app or get me a refund?

You remain in control. It prepares an editable evidence packet and support wording. It cannot cancel other apps, reverse charges or guarantee a refund.

Can I use an ordinary Shopify CSV?

Use an itemized bill export, then select the columns for app, invoice date, amount and currency. Remove non-app lines. If the export is a billing summary, paste or normalize the individual charge lines instead. Dates must be YYYY-MM-DD.

Will a later invoice always be flagged as wrong?

No. It is shown as a review candidate. If the service period started before uninstall, the app calls that out. Usage charges and previously generated charges can arrive on a later Shopify bill.

What information does it need?

Only your shop identity, the app charge lines you import, your ledger and an optional reminder address. Do not upload customer orders, payment card details or entire billing emails. No storefront code is installed.

How do reminders work?

Guard can send one daily digest when an entered review or trial date is within seven days or overdue, or unresolved charge candidates remain. You can disable reminders in the app or from the email link. Delivery setup is still being tested before launch.

Give your next app bill a second look.

Start with one bill and one review owner.
